Mr Martin Tate MA [Oxon], DEM, NPQH
Vice Principal, Hardwick School of Humanities
Martin has taught at Sherwood Hall since 1978 and was appointed to the Senior Leadership Team of Sherwood Hall in 2001. He represented the Eakring Ward on Mansfield District Council from 1991 to 2003 and chaired the Mansfield Education Forum. At Sherwood Hall he has led projects on Assessment, Achievement, Staff Development, Progress Review Day and ICT strategy. Martin’s degree is in Philosophy, Politics and Economics and he teaches History and Politics. His hobbies include supporting Mansfield Town, cycle touring and time trialling with North Notts Olympic, and gardening.
